Our work in Karnataka focuses on reaching deaf children and their families in rural areas and urban slums.
Consultation with government, NGOs and families highlighted needs around the identification of deaf children in rural and urban areas and the support available to families to help their children access communication and language.
We are supporting cross-disability organisations to develop the skills they need to support deaf children.
