At the end of the day, the resource room are given materials so that they can continue to use the participatory learning methods they have learnt
The day events organised by the project aim to demonstrate participatory learning activities and give teachers ideas for the future
Day events include activities that help children to learn in a participatory way and not simply by rote.
Children learn from each other through playing together
Each resource room involved in project receives a pack of games and teaching materials
Learning about numbers can be fun and lots of repetition in a game helps children to learn.
Prizes are awarded to the winners!
NZEVE camps bring together children from different resource rooms for 3 days of learning and fun
Children sign together
Children also have opportunities to practice a craft of their choice
Deaf adults are involved in all the activities as communication assistants and role models
Craft activities teach children to be creative and also help to develop their confidence
