Deaf Child Worldwide is a registered Charity No. 1016532. Deaf Child Worldwide is the international development arm of the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS), committed to creating a world without barriers for every deaf child in the developing world. NDCS is an organisation of parents, families and carers, which exists to support parents in enabling their child to maximise their skills and abilities; and works to facilitate this process by every means possible. Its fundamental role is to advocate for parents and carers as and when appropriate, whilst at all times ensuring the child's welfare is paramount.
NDCS Ltd. is a Company limited by shares and registered in England Reg. No. 0893232. NDCS Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of NDCS and exists to support NDCS fundraising and promotional activities. 100% of the profits from NDCS Ltd go to support the charity’s work with deaf children.
Personal information covers any data that enables us to identify you as an individual such as your name and email address. When you supply information to us, we are legally obliged by the Data Protection Act 1998 to ensure that the information you have provided is only used for the purpose for which it was requested, and to ensure that the data is kept securely.
We will never pass your details onto a third party without gaining prior consent. However we may need to disclose information about you, if required to do so by law.

Donations & financial information
If you make a donation to NDCS via any of the online methods (credit/debit card; direct debit or through CAF) or by sending a cash donation in the post your personal details will be kept with the charity and we may well contact you in the future in connection with your donation.
We may also need to share your information with our service providers, associated organisations and agents for these purposes. NDCS uses JustGiving, directdebitsonline and CAF to ensure your financial information is processed securely. NDCS cannot be held responsible for the privacy of personal information collected by these companies.

Access to your information
As an individual you may request to see any information that NDCS holds about you. You must give written notification of the request, provide proof of identity and make a payment of £10. NDCS will then respond within 40 days.
