Our Work

We support a diverse range of local organisations and community groups in South Asia, East Africa and Latin America who share our vision, mission and values in their work with deaf children and their families.

Deaf people have right to education

Working in partnership with local organisations, we facilitate work that enables deaf children and young people to be fully included in their family, education and community life. This includes the provision of technical advice, professional guidance, publications, resources and funding focused on supporting deaf children to overcome poverty, inequality and isolation.

Our projects adopt a holistic approach, working with deaf children and their families, professionals and the wider community, providing activities that range from advocacy and communications to skills training for peer support groups, all aimed at removing barriers for deaf children.

The input of deaf children, young deaf people and their families is central to our work. We consult with stakeholders and focus our work on empowering families and young deaf people to support each other and campaign for long-term change.
