My diary

My name is Tautvydas and I’m hard of hearing. I use hearing aids.

I attend a mainstream school. I have to go to school from Monday to Friday. School begins at 8:00 am. I usually leave for school at 7:10 am. It is hard to leave earlier as I badly want to sleep in the morning. I often do not eat breakfast.

I go to school by bus. Every morning I take two buses, and change at the Akropolis bus station. Akropolis is a huge shopping center with a lot of stores, cafes, cinema halls, and a skating ring. I don’t like it when the bus is full of people as they are sometimes pushing and pressing.

We do not wear school uniforms at school. At times it is not easy for me to communicate with my classmates as some of them have a really tough character.

We usually finish school at 2:30 or sometimes at 3:30 pm. After the lessons we often have various school events. Sometimes I play basketball together with my schoolmates in the school sports hall.

I would like to go to bed at 12:00pm or even at 1:00am all my life. Why? Even I don't know, why!

In summer I spend a lot of time at my grandma’s summerhouse. We stay there overnight together with my cousins.

I enjoy sports. When I grow up I would like to become a basketball player, like Arvydas Macijauskas who is a basketball player in the Lithuanian basketball team Žalgiris.
