My diary

My mum takes me to school which starts at 8:50am. I wear a red jumper for my school uniform.

At school I like reading, but maths is hard.

School dinner is fantastic!

My friends are helpful and kind to me. My own rules would be to have a longer playtime and that people should be nice to each other. At school my favourite game is "Tig" and skipping. If my friends don't play with me, I sit on the bench and play "Rock, paper, scissors" on my own, just with my other hand.

I get tired at school. My neck hurts when I have to keep turning round to see who is talking! My teacher of the Deaf comes on Tuesdays and we play games, I am good at them. My mum says I "do good listening".

When people talk to me, sometimes I don't hear what they say. They need to look at my face. I like my hearing aids they are my favourite colour purple. When I was little I called them my "Magic Ears". I've got an alarm clock that vibrates to wake me up. It tickles!

Monday is swimming day. My mum signs to me because I can't hear my teacher talking. I am good at swimming and get badges, like 5 metres and 10 metres. Before I was scared but now I can swim. I can swim through the hoop under water.

School finishes at 3:15pm. After school, sometimes I play in my office upstairs. I play schools. I like being teacher. I do the register and write on my own white board. My mum got me a till so I can learn money. I also like to play babies, teachers and watch TV.

I go to bed at 8 o'clock

On Friday and Saturday I go dancing. I've got nine rosettes and certicates for dancing.
