Ways of giving

IDCS is the international wing of the National Deaf Children's Society in the UK. All online donations made through this website will fund IDCS' work.

  • Donate by credit or debit card

  • Post a cheque payable to IDCS to:

A regular gift: monthly, quarterly or annually

Giving through your payroll

Payroll giving, or Give As Your Earn (GAYE), is another fantastic way to give – and it’s tax effective!

Steps of payroll giving

  • Contact your employer's personnel/HR department and find out if they’re registered for payroll giving.
  • If they are registered, ask them to make a regular deduction from your gross salary.

  • If they're not registered, see The Giving Campaign for more information.

  • This is a tax effective way to give. The Inland Revenue allows IDCS to claim your income tax back, which means if you donate £7.80 per month to IDCS, we actually receive £10.
